A Sight to Be Seen: Join us for the 35th Annual North Carolina Holiday Flotilla

If you’re new to Wilmington or Wrightsville Beach, or looking to escape for the Thanksgiving Holiday, join us at Bluewater for the best seats in the house for the NC Holiday Flotilla.

 

 

Watch as hundreds of boats glisten on the Intracoastal Waterway as they parade, lite up to welcome the holiday season!

There is no better location than at Bluewater to enjoy the show. From our waterfront patio, main dining room with picture windows, or our recently renovated upstairs banquet room and patios, we have plenty of seating and dinner options for the perfect evening.

This year, we will be offering our regular menus in the downstairs and upstairs dining rooms, cold weather features for those venturing outside, and a prix fixe menu on the outside deck, which will be tented and heated to enjoy the holiday lights.

$25/per person // 3-course meal

First Course

Spinach and Artichoke Soup

A creamy soup made with roasted artichokes, spinach, fresh garlic, and a hint of lemon. Served with tortilla garnish.

Intracoastal Salad

A mix of romaine lettuce, dried cranberries, celery, candied walnuts, mandarin oranges, and blue cheese.

 

Second Course

Peruvian Roasted Chicken Quarter

White or dark meat chicken quarter marinated in Peruvian spices and roasted. Served with classic green dipping sauce over mashed potatoes and chef’s vegetable.

Apple-Brined Pork Chop

A 10-ounce French cut pork chop brined in apple cider and grilled. Topped with bacon and apple chutney and served over mashed potatoes, and chef’s vegetable.

Honey Garlic Salmon

Fresh Atlantic salmon panseared and topped with a honey garlic glace.  Served over sautéed haricots verts.

Shrimp and Penne with Wild Mushrooms and Basil Pesto

Jumbo shrimp sautéed with wild mushrooms and garlic, tossed in a creamy pesto sauce with confit tomatoes.

 

Third Course

Bananas Foster

Bananas flambeed with rum, banana liquor and brown sugar and served over house-made spice cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

S’mores Brownie

A housemade brownie made with graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow. Served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
