Meet Executive Chef Fabio Capparelli

Have you met Chef Fabio? A native New Yorker and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Fabio Capparelli leads the Culinary team at Bluewater Waterfront Grill in Wrightsville Beach. Fabio joined the team, bringing over 15 years of experience in world-class luxury resorts and upscale dining establishments. His experience includes leading teams as the Executive Chef at properties, including Hilton Norfolk The Main, Rosebud Restaurants, The Ritz Carlton, and The Park Central Hotel. Prior to relocating to Wilmington, North Carolina, Fabio Capparelli resided in Virginia, where he was awarded 2018 Chef of the Year from the VRLTA Ordinary Awards, as well as a number of other culinary accolades for his unique cuisine and culinary style.

Fabio Capparelli has been featured in a number of national and regional publications for his culinary style, showcasing award-winning dishes, publications such as Food and Wine Magazine, Business Insider, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Eater, and Coastal Dish Insider. He also made an appearance as the Chef personality in the Food Network’s Annual New York City Food and Wine Festival Grand Tasting, appeared on Rocco’s Dinner Party on Bravo TV, Judged the Daily News Five Alarm Cookoff, where winning contestants aired on Rachel Ray Show, and appeared on a number of New Channels for his culinary accolades.

Fabio has a strong passion for food and wine, an expansive business sense, and a great record of improving service while preserving the highest levels of quality. He is excited to share his culinary talents with the community of Wilmington. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for Bluewater Waterfront grill this year!
