WAITER/ WAITRESS
Responsible for coordinating entire station and communicating with front- and
back-of-the-house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds
guest expectations. Processes guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared
properly and on a timely basis. Varies, depending on the type of restaurant and
level of service required. A knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room
procedures, generally involving a minimum of 6 months as a bus person or host.
Must be customer-sensitive and possess a sense of timing so that different
courses may be served at the proper time. 

BARTENDER
Responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of the bar. Takes drink
orders from patrons or wait staff and prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic
drinks in accordance with standard recipes. Responsible for
complete knowledge of menu and service procedures.
Must have basic
knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and be familiar with standard drink recipes.
Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money.

HOST/ HOSTESS
Graciously greets guests upon arrival, escorts them to their table, provides menus
to them once seated. Assists with the duties of servers and bus persons as needed
to maintain service effectiveness and efficiency. Sufficient host experience in the
restaurant business preferred or as a server in a
similar type of food service
establishment.

BUS PERSON
Communicates with and assists food servers to maintain service efficiency and
ensures guest satisfaction. Maintains cleanliness of and restocks the front-of-the-
house area. Returns dirty dishes, silverware, glassware and utensils to dish-
washing area. No previous food service experience required.


COOK
The Line Cook is to perform customer service by correctly preparing menu items
to the highest standards of professional cooking.  The Line Cook is to always follow
restaurant recipes and methods of preparation. Requires some restaurant kitchen
experience.  Must possess the ability to learn company recipes and production
standards.

PREPARATION COOK         
Prepares variety of menu items following restaurant recipes and procedures. 
Washes, peels, slices and mixes ingredients together to produce recipes.  Maintains
a fast-paced working routine and understands the importance of proper sanitation
and safety. Some kitchen experience preferred.

DISHWASHER

Properly washes and stores all dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups and small
equipment for the restaurant.  Maintains the dish room and dish machine in a
sanitary and efficient manner.
Entry level, no experience required.
